Cape Coast
The Dust Bowl  30”x 30” Acrylic on Canvas: I painted this about a month after my mother died. She is in the middle of her two siblings.
Oregon Coast  9”x12” Acrylic on Wood Panel: I spent several days at one of my favorite beaches and painted this from an upstairs window.
Aga 24”x 36” Acrylic on Canvas: I would spend afternoon’s at Aga’s house. She worked in clay and spun thread. Even in her old age she tended her own garden and collected water. She outlived 4 husbands.
Me & Diego 24”x 36” Acrylic on Canvas: I grew up with lots of animals (including a red fox) but never had an indoor cat of my own until Diego. He lived until he was 18. I saw him running down the street one day with a bagel in his mouth. He was legendary.
Meadow Eclipse 24”x 36” Acrylic on Canvas: Mount Adams during the Eclipse. It was magical watching the darkness move across the meadow.
tKutsogna Amegnaglo 18”x24” Acrylic on Canvas: I lived around the corner from Komla while in Togo. I appreciated his gentle smile.
Andre 3000 24”x 36” Acrylic on Canvas: Andre was the definition of sweetness. For all of his 18 years.
Wandering Albatross Embroidery: I spent some time on a ship in the southern seas. I came to love the Albatross, particularly the Wandering Albatross which has the longest wingspan of any living bird. They also mate for life.
